Hi there! I'm Vera [veer-ruh] Wei [way], a multidisciplinary designer, developer, and tinkerer, currently focusing on UX design @ IBM. 

I strongly believe in the power of people-centric design and my problem-solving approach focuses on empathy: discovering and understanding latent needs and emotions in the people I design for. I hope to leverage the synergy of my multi-faceted background to tackle thorny problems from different perspectives. 

I recently graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a Master of Human-Computer Interaction degree. Prior to that, I was at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where I majored in computer science and psychology with a minor in graphic design.
