# Veronica Shei > AI Product Engineer @ Crux Location: New York City Metropolitan Area, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/veronica Hi, I'm Veronica! I'm an AI Product Engineer at Crux, where we are financing the future of clean energy. I have both early-stage startup and corporate experience. In the past few years, I’ve worked in NextJS with Typescript, on Large Language Models, and with prompt engineering. I am driven by pixel-perfect implementations and performant code. I also have experience in Angular and have used NextUI, Tailwind, Sass, CSS Modules, Styled Components, and Emotion for styling. I’ve done design work in Sketch and InVision during my time at Visa. Outside of the technology world, I am passionate about food (both cooking and consuming it) and building community within the Asian American and LGBTQIA diaspora. If any of the above sounds interesting to you, let's connect! ## Work Experience ### AI Product Engineer @ Crux Jan 2026 – Present | New York, NY Our mission is to supercharge the clean economy by making capital markets more liquid, efficient, and intelligent. ### Senior Software Engineer @ Column Tax Jan 2024 – Jan 2026 | New York, New York, United States (Acquired by Aiwyn in November 2025) Our mission at Column Tax is to democratize access to financial help and meaningfully improve people’s lives by providing game-changing tax solutions. ### Senior Software Engineer @ Astral Jan 2023 – Jan 2024 | New York, NY Astral (acquired by Dubsado, previously Tellie) allows you to sell your expertise, not your time.
