As the website chair, I wanted to create a tool for the Urbana-Champaign community to connect with the University, SWE, and the engineering disciplines by:
- revamping the design and layout of the SWE Outreach Website completely to engage different age groups of girls to introduce them to engineering and increase their interest and exposure in STEM fields
- creating online resources for elementary through high school girls on the website to facilitate their involvement with SWE and STEM through a pen pal program and at-home activities

In this position, I hope to help inspire young girls to believe in themselves and their abilities to pursue STEM.
