# Victoria Artz > Product Designer @Facebook Location: San Francisco, California, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/victoriaartz I enjoy working with research and data to turn complex problems into simple solutions. I have 10+ years of experience in designing mobile, web, consumer and enterprise products. I feel fulfilled helping and mentoring my peers, and working on products that have an impact on society especially empowering underrepresented people. ## Work Experience ### Product Designer @ Facebook Jan 2017 – Jan 2025 ### Senior UX Designer @ Lumity, Inc. Jan 2016 – Jan 2017 | San Francisco Bay Area Lumity is a healthcare technology benefits platform that uses data to predict the best outcomes and best health plans for every employee based on their specific healthcare needs. I lead the visual and ux design of all aspects of the product, including the employee experience, employer experience, and the claims dashboard. My work encompasses designing user flows, interaction models, UI specifications, wireframing and prototyping, usability testing, and creating high-fidelity visual mocks. I create and enforce the brand and product UI style guide to provide a consistent experience throughout the customer journey. I partner with engineering by committing CSS and HTML code changes using Git. Most importantly, keeping in mind product requirements and turn complex concepts into simple solutions. ### UX/Visual Designer @ Upsight, Inc. Jan 2013 – Jan 2015 | San Francisco Bay Area Upsight is a data analytics and marketing platform for mobile app developers. The product tracks user behavior, improves engagement and provides data insights using funnel analysis, data mining and segment analysis. I worked on a team of 2 designers and synthesized requirements from product, design, and data science to turn complex data problems into simple UI solutions. I led user research and usability studies, designed wireframes, user flows, designed visual prototypes in Sketch and Invision. ### Chief Creative Officer @ MatchPuppy Jan 2010 – Jan 2013 | New York, NY I started Matchpuppy with my cofounder, Michael Chang, as a social network for dogs, because we wanted to find more playdates for our dogs. The platform allowed users to match based on age, size, location, and temperament. I designed it so that dog owners could meet other dog owners (dating) and get recommendations for dog services in the area (community board). I interviewed customers to understand pain points (user interviews), then designed user flows and wireframes and designed visual mock ups. We partnered with an illustrator to design our dog universe from my wireframes and an engineer to build a prototype from the visuals. We tested the finished prototype with users we met at dog parks, dog hotels and grooming salons. I also designed keynote investor decks (for fund raising) and all promotional print materials, Facebook page assets and email newsletters. We grew our user base to 10,000 users and were featured in ABCNews, Mashable, Gizmodo, Good Morning America and the Huffington Post. ### Designer @ OMGPOP Jan 2011 – Jan 2012 OMGPOP was a social gaming studio that developed casual games for web and mobile. The company was acquired by Zynga in March 2012 for $180M after the hit success of mobile game Draw Something. As a generalist designer my tasks ranged from assisting senior designers and our art director in designing UI elements for Draw Something (mobile), Facebook games (web) and games for omgpop.com. ### Art Director @ DreamIt Ventures Jan 2012 – Jan 2012 Assisted portfolio companies with decks, product UI help, and design critique. ### Assistant Art Director @ 20th Street media Jan 2009 – Jan 2010 This is where I started my career as a design intern then became a full time employee. I worked closely with the art director on completing projects for web and print using Adobe Illustrator, In Design and Photoshop. I sketched, wireframed and mocked up new web design projects. I coded my designs using HTML/CSS. Prior to making a decision to become a web designer, I was on a path to become an Actuary at a vision insurance firm in Manhattan. I quickly decided that working in a cubicle, crunching numbers all day was not what I really wanted to do for the REST of my life. I left my job and enrolled in SVA. ## Education ### Continuing Studies in Graphic Design School of Visual Arts Jan 2009 – Jan 2010 ### Bachelor of Arts in Actuarial Science Baruch College Jan 2004 – Jan 2009 ## Contact & Social - LinkedIn: https://linkedin.com/in/vartz - Portfolio: http://www.matchpuppy.com - Portfolio: http://www.pinkketchup.com - Portfolio: https://angel.co/vtsiganenko --- Source: https://flows.cv/victoriaartz JSON Resume: https://flows.cv/victoriaartz/resume.json Last updated: 2026-03-25
