2025 — Now
Berkeley, California, United States
• Built backend infrastructure using Django, PostgreSQL, and Mapbox for live ingestion of user reports, clustering of geospatial data, and dynamic map-layer integrations.
• Engineered location-based alert notifications and report moderation tools, supporting community accuracy and trust through features like “mark flood as cleared,” “helpful,” or user-flagging for review.
• Guided product-market fit with a pilot roadmap: preparing for on-the-ground testing in Accra (June–July 2025) in partnership with local stakeholders like the Ghana Online Drivers Union and Makola Market vendors.
• Created a foundation for civic data: Crowdsourced reports, including photos and timestamps, provide raw datasets usable by city planners for flood mitigation, drainage improvement, and resilience planning.
2025 — 2025
2025 — 2025
San Ramon, California, United States
• Engineered backend data pipelines and schemas to support booking and scheduling features for structured storage and retrieval for downstream analytics.
• Automated deployment workflows by scripting reproducible cloud environments (infrastructure-as-code), which reduced manual server setup.
• Implemented API endpoints for secure scheduling, payments, and calendar integration, optimizing latency and reliability for production readiness.
• Developed mock datasets to simulate EHR (Electronic Health Records) integrations, accelerating prototyping while awaiting vendor credentials; ensured data formats aligned with ML preprocessing needs.
• Designed compliance-aware system architecture by mapping HIPAA, FERPA, and COPPA overlaps, ensuring data governance frameworks suitable for health-related ML applications.

My role revolved around the development and management of software applications. This involved designing user interactions on websites, developing servers and databases for website functionality, and ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile devices. I handled tasks from the front-end, involving the user-facing part of applications, to the back-end, which covers server-side operations. I built, designed and maintained web applications, ensuring smooth functionality at both the client and server sides, creating a cohesive and optimal user experience.
