# Victor Xie > Principal Product Designer at ESPN | Creator of Did You Eat Yet? Location: San Francisco Bay Area, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/victorxie Hi, I’m Victor, a designer born and raised in the Bay Area. I’m currently on the product design team at Disney Entertainment and ESPN Product & Technology. I’ve built a career designing thoughtful, impactful experiences across early-stage startups and large-scale consumer platforms. Prior to joining ESPN, I’ve led teams and shaped products at companies like Yahoo Sports, Envoy, Bleacher Report, StudyBlue (acquired by Chegg), and Tapingo (acquired by Grubhub). My work blends product strategy, visual design, and systems thinking, always with a focus on clarity, collaboration, and craft. Outside of work, I created Did You Eat Yet? — a YouTube video series exploring Asian American and Bay Area food culture through storytelling. I also previously ran Green Acre, an apparel brand and creative community focused on growth, which is still one of the most fulfilling projects I’ve taken on. I care deeply about building strong creative cultures, mentoring designers, and making things that feel both useful and human. I also just love making cool stuff with my friends, and being a girl dad to the best little human I know. What I bring to the table: • Product design leadership & strategy • Cross-functional collaboration • Design systems & UX infrastructure • Visual & brand design expertise • Creative direction & content production • Career mentorship • Extremely detailed food recs Let’s connect, whether it’s about design, storytelling, or just building something that matters! ## Work Experience ### Principal Product Designer @ The Walt Disney Company Jan 2025 – Present | San Francisco Bay Area Principal product designer for ESPN Fantasy. ### Senior Manager, Product Design @ Yahoo Sports Jan 2023 – Jan 2025 | San Francisco Bay Area Led the Yahoo Sports product design team across mobile and web platforms, managing a team of five designers.
