• Design leader (reporting to Officer of International eCommerce) for 3 International markets (UK, Canada, Mexico) a total portfolio of $3.5Bn (double-digit growth)
• Over a 3-year period, built an industry-leading design organization focused on driving eCommerce growth across Walmart International properties. (Diverse team of 120+ UX members comprised of Design Directors, UX Managers, User researchers, multi-lingual Content strategists, Language QA, Design Ops, UX architects, Motion Designers, UX Design engineers, Visual Designers located across Leeds, Mexico City, Mississauga, Bangalore, Sunnyvale).
• Responsible for monthly/quarterly/annual UX metrics (e.g., app-usage, loyalty/repeats, checkout-speeds, basket-size) review with Executive Leadership.
• Advocated and delivered on a comprehensive Design system for all markets/platforms by cross-leveraging components while retaining local brand identity for the International properties.
• Innovated on UX with cross-linkages across user personas, use-cases and customer journeys
• Established design processes across scrum teams - tightly integrating with engineering and product management teams.
• Kickstarted semi-annual design summits within Walmart to encourage UX members to cut across silos and learn new skills & business from other markets.
