• Managed a team of 30 Care Extender Interns through coordination of shifts, leading training on patient handling, transportation and care, as well as interviewing and selecting future interns.
• Brought the "Healing through Art" program to new departments through an increase in funding from UCLA Medical Center and was recognized in the Santa Monica Mirror for the benefits the program brought to patient care
• Applied direct medical care with a team of surgical residents with hands-on experience in administering oral intubations, inserting central and arterial lines, and assisting with emergency cardiac arrest situations
• Monitored and facilitated patient care in both the Transplant Surgical Intensive Care Unit and Medical Intensive Care Unit with over 300 hours of firsthand experience
