2025 - present: Executed a high-impact restructuring of Etsy's taxonomy.
2022 - 2024: Led and developed 12+ projects for Etsy’s Fulfillment team with an emphasis on rigorous testing, documentation, and modularity.
Re-wrote the Ship By Date calculator, which determines package ship-by dates for every order at Etsy, to use the Seller's timezone as an input. Used extensive prototyping to understand the impact of this change on package delivery dates and ensured multiple consuming systems correctly read this date as a DateTime with timezone.
Proposed and executed 3 large-scale refactors, including eliminating exception handling in object validation logic (PHP), simplifying large component trees (PHP), and migrating modules to React Toolkit. Results included deleting 10,000+ lines of dead code, resolving production bugs, and increasing test coverage and documentation.
Onboarded and coached 3 junior developers on my team, and facilitated a monthly Coding Best Practices meeting to share knowledge and establish coding standards within the team.

Design and develop core features for Student Financials, a management software for university financial administrators and students.
Technical Lead + YP Architect: Design solutions for ~5 epics per release with a focus on architectural design and performance. I support a team of 3 developers and PM, lead cross-team issues, mentor new hires and spearhead adoption of YP, Workday’s new proprietary language, for the larger team by leading 2 cross- team API conversions, consulting with other Technical leads, and holding 10+ hours of training sessions.
Lead Developer: Drove my scrum team to use Workday’s new proprietary language, YP, to optimize performance for the Charge Aggregation feature. This became one of the company’s largest projects in YP, and launched the effort to move our codebase from a monolith to micro-services architecture.
Scrum Master: Lead scrum meetings, taught agile practices, and tracked release progress for a team of 7 during the transition to working from home.

Contributed to user dashboard (written in ReactJS) containing multiple risk calculation programs for factory equipment and pipes.
Redesigned the interface to enable users to view unpurchased calculators, run a sample calculation, and purchase new calculators directly from the dashboard via a shopping cart.
