Nucor – Inventory Optimization & Demand Forecasting

Led end-to-end development and deployment of an AI-driven Inventory Optimization solution for one of C3’s largest strategic clients.

Built a fully functional pilot in 1.5 months, securing Nucor’s partnership with C3.

Replaced manual Excel workflows with an automated system, delivering ~$300K in annual savings and $7.1M in incremental revenue.

Developed scalable distributed applications and automated data pipelines for high-volume data using Python, React, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, Kubernetes, MapReduce Jobs, Cursor, C3 MCP, and Lovable; integrated data from S3 and Databricks with automated validation, monitoring, and alerting (OpenSearch, Grafana).

Spearheaded collaboration between Demand Forecasting and Inventory Optimization teams to integrate forecast outputs into the optimization model.
