My path has been nonlinear. I started as a software engineer, spent a decade inside enterprise systems, then found my way to UX — where I realized I cared less about how software works and more about how people experience it. That shift changed everything. Since then, I've led design projects at Apple, Walmart, and Intuitive Surgical. I've built design systems that shipped products in record time. I've helped startups find their voice, refine their pitch, and get funded. And I've written 200+ articles trying to make sense of this craft for others. I also teach, write, and speak. I've co-authored research papers on HCI and accessibility. I've judged hackathons at Stanford and Berkeley. I've been interviewed about AI, design systems, and where this industry is headed. I recently published an ebook — UX Prompts for Designers — for designers learning to work with AI without losing their craft. But I'm not only a designer.
