At SlideShare I got my first taste of a successful startup which gave me opportunity to work as product manager, usability engineer, UX designer, engineer and lot more. Prior to acquisition I worked exclusively on the UX of SlideShare premium features. Continuous improvements in user experience resulted in almost 100% increase in the premium signups.

I also work as an in-house usability and interaction design expert which included doing heuristic reviews, usability tests, user studies regularly.

I was directly responsible for UX of SlideShare Premium which included creating end to end UX for premium conversion system, premium features, dashboard, payment system.I designed SlideShare Google Hangout App and did a redesign of account settings. Driving the product designs from ideation to implementation, by collaborating with a larger multi-disciplinary team that includes Product Management, engineering, marketing, and customer support.

Work included doing UX research and user behavior data analysis. Visualizing strategic intent and Defining product hypothesis, Iterating design variation, Interactive prototyping of the concepts and figuring out flow/logic design.Doing Product marketing design, landing pages, launch pages, ads, banners etc. Writing HTML/CSS, working with developers to get it wired and functional, doing Post launch usability analysis and final agile tuning.

Working as design lead, conducting user research, Usability audits, creating UX and IA models, designing aesthetically pleasant and user centered UI’s, designing branding strategy and branding material on projects focused on software solution by LIBSYS as well as on outside consulting.

Project aimed at exploring possibilities of empowering people in emerging economies with the use of low end mobile phones. We worked in the field of M- commerce and looked into the area of Mobile Yellow Pages directory targeting SME’s and SMB’s in an Indian market context.
