Abstract: For many reasons such as migration of HEC application, performance evaluation of hardware required for HEC, benchmarks are used. Our work concentrates on generation of source code for the benchmark extracted from the HEC application. The MPI I/O traces from the HEC application are collected and used to generate the benchmark source code. This generated code is compact, portable and platform independent. It reflects MPI communication of the original application.
