I've been working on VOD uploads, Live and Live With features in the Facebook family of apps such as Facebook, Instagram, Facebook Lite etc.
During this period my work was focused around delivering videos from user devices to the Facebook infra preserving pristine quality and at low latency.
Led and participated in such efforts as:
- Background video upload on iOS
- Migration of Facebook Live from RTMP (TCP) to VideoProtocol (QUIC)
- Multiple Live video ABR, Video and Audio compression optimizations
- On-device video quality estimation
