Product: Horizonte – an internal web framework, which powers Amazon.com, Whole Foods, Kindle Store, IMDb, and more than 1,700 other experiences owned by Amazon.
•Collaborated with partner teams to integrate and roll out new framework features and improvements. Brought ARM architecture support to the framework as an alternative to x86, which allowed 30–60% more cost efficiency.
•Performed on-call duty and responded to incidents. Worked with the Security department to assess security issues, developed and executed vulnerability remediation plans.
•Improved the reliability of the CI/CD infrastructure. In particular, eliminated intermittent integration test failures, which resulted in 20–30% faster code delivery and reduced operational overhead.
Product: Hiring Service that Amazon uses to hire tens of thousands people daily.
•Made the Hiring Service architecture design approved by Security department. Designed and implemented the key components of the service related to the API, database persistence, and job scheduling.
•Executed the managed launch of the new service, which initially took over 25% of the total Amazon hiring volume from the legacy system.
•Mentored other engineers and helped their career advancement.
