Giving What We Can is a international meta-charity best know for its charitable recommendations and its 🔸10% Pledge, where members commit to donating 10% of their income to effective charities. ### Senior Product Designer @ Lyft Jan 2020 – Jan 2023 | New York City Metropolitan Area Led design on Lyft’s Rendezvous team which focuses on making pickups easier, safer, and more efficient for riders and drivers. Served as the sole designer and de facto strategy lead on the team, driving six major projects/programs from early strategic stages, through design and research, to final shipment. All told, these projects delivered an additional $67.1M/year in post-marking margin while significantly improving the pickup experience for riders & drivers. Notable contributor to Lyft’s design systems & culture: adding new components & conventions to Lyft’s core library, building a new library of low-fidelity components for other designers to use, and writing on Lyft’s PD+ design blog (read below). ### Product Designer @ Warby Parker Jan 2019 – Jan 2020 | Greater New York City Area Owned design and research across Warby Parker’s suite of business tools which service Warby’s 237 retail locations. Retail-specific tools included a fully custom point of sale system, inventory management, and appointment booking. Vision services (eye doctor) tools included a fully custom, HIPAA-compliant provider platform, patient/prescription management, and visual acuity tests. Created the first design system & component library for these internal tools which is still used today. ### Product Designer @ ClassPass Jan 2018 – Jan 2019 | Greater New York City Area Growth: Overhauled the primary conversion funnel on web, resulting in a significant 14.2% increase in conversion rate post-launch. Designed a new set of pricing and payout tools within the B2B dashboard, aimed at building trust with business partners through increased transparency. Mobile: Redesigned the consumer-facing mobile search experience, introducing point-based location search. ### Product Designer @ TodayTix Jan 2017 – Jan 2018 | Greater New York City Area ### Associate Instructor (UX) @ General Assembly Jan 2017 – Jan 2017 | Greater New York City Area As an instructor in GA’s UX Design program, my primary responsibility was teaching the practices & principles of great UX to aspiring designers. Outside of my teaching role, I worked with instructional lead Mike Morales to make significant improvements to the UXDI program & its core curriculum. As Trellon’s only UX designer, I was responsible for every facet of our design process. This included but was not limited to: strategic planning with clients/stakeholders, conducting research with users, executing designs based on that research/planning, and working closely with our team of engineers to implement those designs. ### Design Engineer @ Honeybee Robotics Jan 2013 – Jan 2015 | Greater New York City Area At Honeybee, I worked with an incredible, interdisciplinary team of engineers to solve unprecedented problems using advanced robotic solutions. On specific projects, I functioned both as a product designer and as a mechanical engineer, depending on team needs.
