My happy place: on-site startups with people who choose to grind to win but still take time to enjoy lunch together. Designer by trade, PM by nature. I love identifying and solving high-impact, technical problems.

Going back to my roots and helping post-sales teams deliver the best customer mgmt & service 💌
• First design hire, employee #10
• Built our first AI features from 0-1: AI support agents, copilots, task workflows, search, and data enrichment
• Ripped out an analytics vendor and redesigned our analytics product from the ground up (data viz, query ui system, dashboard ui/ux, dozens of micro-interactions and small details, etc)
• 1 maxed-out Figma file and 70+ small to large features designed and shipped within the first 10 months
• Meet or message customers for feedback on complex interactions or to quickly validate assumptions
• Created and maintain our design system

Helping scientists communicate their work more clearly and beautifully ✨
• Joined as the second designer and led design for the company's new Statistics & Graph product (released in March 2024) -- including: research, product onboarding, modular interface to manage datasets, data-model specific visualizations (eg. linear regressions, one/two-way anova, dose response curves, etc), graph and visualization customizations (eg. axis controls, colors, stroke widths, labeling, etc), data-model specific analyses and reports, accessibility (scientific journals have strict guidelines on accessible visualizations), and more.
• Crafted and managed the company's first design career ladder, while providing guidance for other ladders
• Changed and established new processes across the engineering-product organization to create more accountability and clarity, i.e. established regular design review meetings, created and socialized a Gantt sheet to help product teams better manage and revisit project timelines, implemented a technical documentation process to help engineers communicate expected project milestones and timelines
• Mentored and provided regular feedback to product designers on visual/interaction design and research
• Mentored and worked closely with my PM partner on roadmapping, resourcing, and setting metric goals
* Learned that a fully-remote workplace isn't what I'd want long term, and so I left the company on good terms.

Designing with data ✌️
Design lead for the growth team (account/user activation, monetization ux), previously the design lead for a horizontal team that owns Amplitude's core collaborative functions (spaces/folders, analytics dashboards, notebooks, sharing/distribution), and previously the first designer for a new data management team and initiative. Co-owned and closely collaborated with PM partners on product strategy/roadmap and project management, owned qual/quant research, ui/ux design, and mentored junior designers within and outside of my product team.
Core areas I've led while hitting or exceeding quant goals:
• Activation: signup flow, new account onboarding, demo ux
• Monetization: PLG design framework, payment flows
• Reporting: dashboards, notebooks, templates
• Content/file system: redesigned spaces architecture, interface, permissions, sharing
• Data: connections, schema management, mutations
• Admin: user/group management, SSO, SCIM/provisioning
