• Under the guidance of Dr. Victor Minces, cooperated with CMU's research team to develop Sound Tools, aiming to create an infrastructure to facilitate other scientists to transmit their passions (in this case sound and music) to teenagers.

• Designed Oscilloscope display module with Tone.js, primarily focusing on the functions of waveform selection, navigation, and swipe sound.

• Integrated membrane animation to Signal Generator to visualize the sound amplitude and frequency in a concise manner.

• Optimized the end-users experience of mobile devices by developing new features such as horizontal lock, canvas resize, and info buttons with React.js, covering modules of Oscilloscope, Signal Generator, and Spectrogram.

• Designed a study/work-focused Google extension with HTML5 and React.js to reinforce user commitment to productivity without distractions during work hours. By enabling this extension, the Chrome browser will block access to other websites for a certain period.

• Implemented a countdown clock function to show the remaining time limit for blocking usage. Optimized the function by providing users with the flexibility to change the preset time.

• Developed a feature of making friends with model–view–controller (MVC) structure by connecting Google Firebase, including functionalities of search, add, remove, and display.

• Built an effective reward mechanism (grow Sunflowers by staying focused) to encourage users to develop good habits and prevent getting distracted by providing a sense of happiness and satisfaction.

• Wrote efficient algorithms in Java and C++ to solve problems in a fixed period of 3.5 hours. In Fall 2019, finished the competition as runner-up.
