Part time role identifying and developing software solutions for niche applications. Most notably delivered the Western Blot Utility taking the product from concept to operation. Responsible for defining product/technical vision while also executing it, in such a way to ensure effective customer satisfaction.

Having a blast leading the vision, design, and execution of timely, relevant technical solutions to the Ag Tech community. Leveraging open-source technology to ensure an ecosystem of easy to integrate cross-platform solutions and transparency to end users with the end goal of helping to bring some standardization across the industry.

Led the Software Team through a period of rapid company growth. We added on a Product team, Manufacturing team, and had significant turn over in senior leadership while we rolled out Atlassian's suite of collaboration tools and drastically shifted the company's priority. Leaned heavily on the Software Team's culture to roll out Jira and Confluence each within a sprint's timeline with full adoption across the team. Got schooled in the art of managing upwards. Served as the pilot program for establishing a Product-Engineering relationship. Worked with the CPO to establish a relationship that helped balance engineering agency / startup agility while enabling the communication maturity that comes with a large organization. Contributed heavily to the org's strategy on how we can most effectively architect the Program, Product, and Engineering org relationship to get the best velocity and value from the company with the resources we have. Worked with the Software Team technical leads and Product to generate the development road map with continuous iteration so engineers always knew what was next, the company had insight into what is being delivered, and we had a medium able to facilitate effective communication around the impact of scope changes while ensuring the team kept up the necessary velocity to demonstrate tangible progress.
