Managed setup and builds of the app in a Linux environment as well as version control with git and Github to collaborate with other developers. Developed user experience throughout the app using Angular on the front end and Node on the back end by adding new features and refining existing features that included rebuilding the video upload process, refactoring chat utilizing websockets, payment from customers with the Stripe API, and user project management flow. Optimized video storage and delivery through transcoding and Adaptive Bitrate streaming by connecting to JWPlayer through their api endpoints from our servers using Node.js and Python for better in-app user viewing. Improved and expanded email system connected to the Mandrill API to improve customer experience through seamless transactional email flow throughout the app including authentication process and job notifications.
