I worked in a team focused on creating an app that would enable people to use their NFC-enabled smartphones to pay for their transit. I worked largely on the server portion of the project. It was a Tomcat server written in Java that utilized MVC design as well as the Spring and Hibernate toolsets. Via Hibernate, the server communicated with a Postgres database.

I provide assistance to students in the introductory computer science course at Hendrix College. This assistance may take the form of helping a student to learn a concept or helping a student to complete an assignment.

I provide assistance to students in Functions and Models (college algebra) and Calculus I and II. This aid may take the form of helping students to finish an assignment or to study concepts.

Academic Peer Mentors (APMs) serve to aid students in becoming acclimated to Hendrix College. We keep in contact with our assigned group of Freshman students and make sure that we are available to answer their questions.
