Jack-of-all-trades product engineering. I worked closely with product and design to plan, ship, and support new features while also nurturing junior engineering talent.

Rapidly onboarded onto an existing team to launch a Market Insights tool. (JS, Python, Postgres, Airflow) I was then a key player in delivering an Offers Management product that tied together several disparate systems, requiring extensive cross-team collaboration and painstaking code archaeology. (JS, Python, Postgres, Flask)

Backend role | Go, AWS, Python, Terraform

Infrastructure automation for the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Helped plan an effort to drive down time to provision AWS environments from one month to one day. To unlock the larger effort, designed & implemented a Go service to automate user administration for the agency's legacy VPN. Coordinated across several government stakeholders and contractor teams.

Frontend-focused fullstack role | JS (React + Redux), Scala, Go. Built GIS experiences on both Mapbox and ESRI

Built and owned the UI for Axon Respond, a product that aggregates real-time location, video, and notifications from Axon body cameras. Made significant contributions to backend architecture for WebRTC streaming and real time data processing. Mentored other engineers as a cross-organization UI code quality maintainer.

Data engineering role | Python (Django, Pandas, Scikit-learn), JS (React), AWS, Postgres

Maintained data pipeline that combined output from models, hand-coded heuristics, and human labels to generate the best possible predictions for our recruiting product. Also contributed to internal web application used by labelers.
