This program lasted over 10 years and improved almost every aspect of the SFPUC water transmission system from Hetch Hetchy to the rate payers in San Francisco. My colleague and I spent the summer interviewing, reading, and researching all of the Environmental Review aspects of the many project from tunneling projects, to dam improvement. ### Camp counselor and lifeguard @ Camp Marin Sierra Jan 2010 – Jan 2013 My first summer as a camp counselor and merit badge instructor I taught classes of 20 scouts in disciplines such as First Aid, Camping, Wilderness Survival, Fishing and Hiking. Included with this job was keeping track of all requirements completed by the scouts using a tracking sheet system. The next two summers I taught classes in Swimming, Life Saving, Small Boat Sailing, and Canoeing. As a life guard I also received training and certification from the Red Cross in first aid for the professional rescuer, CPR/AED for the professional rescuer as well as Red Cross and BSA life guard certifications. Throughout the summer our waterfront staff trained and continued to hone our skills at protecting those using the swimming and boating areas of Camp Marin Sierra. Last summer I continued to teach and be an on-duty lifeguard. I was also given the position of Assistant Waterfront Supervisor where I was the liaison between the other waterfront staff members and the Waterfront Director.
