As the 1st engineer at Yurts, I am working across the entire stack from infrastructure to ML to deliver the best generative AI experiences for our users. My role contributes across the lines of engineering, machine learning and product to the Yurts vision of redefining enterprise productivity in an AI-driven world.

At Yurts I lead the applied machine learning and applications team, championing the integration of intricate machine learning models, LLMs and algorithms with real customer experiences. We work cross functionally to ship and deliver value to our customers quickly.

Led a cross functional team of product designers, ML engineers, front end and back end engineers delivering a end-to-end natural language model training platform. Our team built out Primer Automate, a model training platform focused on allowing non-technical users to build machine learning models. We focused on building tooling to enable high quality data selection and labeling to maximize model performance while minimizing amount of human capital spent labeling. Research areas covered by my team included active learning and training dynamics.

During my time building Primer Automate, I directly managed 5 ML engineers.
