I collaborated with various Google teams and locations including oversees. ### Senior Product Designer @ Cohere Health Jan 2021 – Jan 2022 | Boston, Massachusetts, United States Lead designer on the data team where I worked with healthcare workers, analysts, ML / Data Scientists, and engineers to help make the patient journey easier. In particular I worked on data heavy projects to help with transparency and goal driven dashboards and visualizations. ### Senior User Experience Designer @ Universal Robots A/S Jan 2019 – Jan 2021 | Greater Boston Area Working with a great team of engineers, PM's, and designers I had a major role in redesigning a very easy to use robot operating system that eventually became called "Polyscope X". Moderating and synthesizing user research collected across the world at various user sites, this lead to various internal workshops I hosted that allowed us to utilize systems experts and domain leads to insure feasibility of new ideas. With other designers we finalized an architecture and art direction, building a design system assisting engineering with sprint deliverables. Working with other UX researchers we tested different flows, testing assumptions and getting ideas for future updates. ### Product Designer 2 (via The Creative Group) @ Microsoft Jan 2018 – Jan 2019 | Greater Seattle Area I designed various tools that helped analysts and data scientists maintain and grow Azure data centers and reduce costs across multiple partner supply chains. Researching and prototyping possible solutions I also tested designs performing my own usability tests with various user types. This lead to a measurable cost reduction for various Azure teams and partners, making advanced cloud technologies possible and cheaper for end users. ### Product Designer - Graduate Capstone @ NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory Jan 2018 – Jan 2018 Working with NASA JPL Ops Lab we researched operations during missions on orbiters and touring missions. We then utilized our findings to design a product to attempt to improve the visibility and collaboration of instrument teams. The result is "Continuum", a geospatial, scheduling, and conflict resolution web application. ### Senior Product Designer @ Ventive LLC Jan 2016 – Jan 2017 | Boise, Idaho Area I designed products for a variety of industries including healthcare, telecom, and a fundraising platform. I worked with amazing team members across the world and helped manage the project from ideation to development making sure that the user is evangelized at each step. ### Co Owner & Lead Designer @ OberOber Design Jan 2013 – Jan 2017 Contract work with many start-up jobs around Boise with the flexibility to help with all parts of the product design process, from ideation, branding to wireframing and final assets. I work closely with business owners and marketing leads to produce a variety of marketing materials that develop or fit brand specifications. Deliverables include: brand identity, ads (print & web), email & social campaigns, websites, shopping carts, analytics and a variety of print materials. ### Project Manager @ Behavior Imaging Solutions Jan 2013 – Jan 2015 Managed the Behavior Imaging involvement in the FAST-AS pharmaceutical study. Participating sites are: UCLA, Emory, and Seattle Children's Hospital. I took over the position from a colleague in 2013 and helped make changes to the platform that improved customer engagement while helping each university site with evidence capture and general support. Part of the project was working with the NIH to make sure we were hitting the goals indicated in the grant. ### UX Designer @ Behavior Imaging Solutions Jan 2009 – Jan 2015 | Boise, Idaho Area UX Design - Collected user experience data through interviews, questionnaires, customer support, and analytics. Synthesized results by creating visualizations and wireframes to suggest improvements, presenting functional specification to our development team. UI Design - Create and improve interface visual design and marketability of products on PC, Web and iOS devices. I work closely with developers to produce wireframes, icons and photo mockups for the initial launch and ongoing change requests always keeping the user at the forefront in all decisions. Visual Design - Created and maintained brand and sub-brands for print and web use.
