As a UX design intern at Alivecor, I worked on several projects related to their medical device app, Kardia. My primary focus was on improving the user experience and creating a more intuitive design for the app.
One of my main projects was to add a notification center to the app, which allowed users to easily access and manage their notifications in one central location. I worked closely with the engineering team to ensure that the feature was implemented seamlessly and that it met the needs of the user.
Another project I worked on was to create a streamlined and efficient system for documenting and referencing designs in Figma. This involved working with stakeholders and the entire AliveCor team to ensure that all designs were properly documented and easily accessible for everyone.
Finally, I worked on a visual redesign of the app by conducting numerous case studies and using research to back up my design decisions. This involved looking deeply into how I could enhance the user experience through the visual elements such as color, illustrations, typography and more.
Overall, my role as a UX design intern at Alivecor involved working on a variety of projects to improve the user experience and design of the Kardia app. My goal while interning for Alivecor was to learn as much about the different facets of design and solidifying the design process.
