This project spanned two semesters long. - Created the 'FriendBot' which gives Skype users an additional level of networking. It allows users to find each other based on similar information shared with the bot like nationality, education, and occupation. The bot is currently deployed on Azure. ### Software Development Intern @ Lockheed Martin Jan 2018 – Jan 2018 | Herndon, Virginia CybOrg team researched platforms that utilize bot applications for implementing communication interoperability. - Developed a proof of concept that allows for communication between Slack and the MSFT Bot Framework Emulator. - Presented a means to increase interoperability and integration with newer technology and existing legacy systems. - Held a secret security clearance. ### Research Intern @ Virginia State University Jan 2017 – Jan 2017 | Richmond, Virginia Area I served as a research intern approved by the Virginia State University Undergraduate Research Foundation working in our engineering building directed under Dr. Zhenhua Wu. The purpose of my internship was to enable MTConnect on our manufacturing machine the Haas Lathe. MTConnect consists of an adapter and an agent programmed in C# and C++ respectively. My job was to utilize provided MTConnect adapter framework and use C# to enable it on the Haas.
