Tintri is an application­aware storage solution providing virtualization and management at the VM level. Current list of responsibilities include all phases of design and development. I’ve developed a number of features including a global center Javascript/HTML5 UI framework, backend java development for workflows such as virtual machine snapshotting and deletion, an entire workflow for disaster recovery from front to back including architectural design. I’ve designed the following features: Tintri native disaster recovery, high frequency snapshots, RESTful API pagination and filter support, quality of service management and UI, Tintri cluster management HTML5/Javascript framework, and VM clone requests with multiple hypervisor support. I also managed a small team that developed a VMware vSphere, Flex and Java based, client plugin. The development technologies included Java 1.6, Python, Javascript, jQuery, Backbone, Flex, and PowerShell.

Customers choose Delphix for the following IT priorities: private clouds for databases, extending virtualization to databases, controlling data growth and storage spending, and application or database upgrades, such as EBS or SAP upgrades.

Performed java development of web application backend business logic, persistence layer development, 3rd party application integration, production code support, and on-going architecture design. I developed the core backend business logic to help produce a scalable web application platform. Implemented Web Services (CXF), Lucene Search and Indexing, EhCache caching, java business logic layer, and completed functionality of a pre-existing persistence layer. I also provided development support with MySQL database design, Tapestry presentation, and integration of Terracotta node clustering. The next front-end version was developed in Flex 3. I completed several modules including a discussion board navigation and blog like editorial.
