MDX Eng POC on all issues related to pricing, cancellation and monetization. 
MDX Tech POC for Homes Technical Review Process to review and approve technical designed related to MDX systems and services.
Lead engineers from multiple teams (Monetization, Cancellation, Platform, China) to build big initiatives for Airbnb. Sample projects are:
1. Designed the architecture and tech lead for enabling hotel pricing hierarchy, hotel rate plan pricing, hotel cancellation policies on Airbnb platform which is critical to onboard hotels to Airbnb platform. 
2. Designed and lead the execution of cancellation tiered pricing which is the first product to connect booking settings and pricing settings and increases bookings and nights. 
3. Designed and lead the execution of enabling different host fee plans and incentive campaigns for charging hosts in a more scalable and flexible way which enables pro host and cross listed listings to adopt same fee structures as competitors. 
4. Built the framework and launched over 20 service fee elasticity experiments to achieve the most effective service fee strategy on Airbnb platform to increase nights and bookings.
5. Designed and lead 48 hours guest fee grace period project and recovered 75% of Airbnb revenue loss on the fully refundable policy, lifted 1% uncanceled bookings globally, reduced 9% CX tickets and 40% guest cancellation rate, and increased our revenue up to 2.49% in 2017, which equals to 60M+ revenue increase in 2017 and estimated 180M+ revenue increase in 2018.  Brought up by Leadership in Homes all hands meetings as one of the highlight for Airbnb in the second half of 2017.

• Led the design and development of the system to send personalized Google Now cards to
Pandora listeners, including Google server communication and user authentication, public
API design and implementation, card generation and delivery, data automation, album art
image processing, campaign management portal, card testing tool, performance monitoring
dashboard, A/B experiment, etc.
• Key contributor for Pandora push notification system developed from scratch, including
campaign handling and processing, notification gateway, internal XML-RPC communication
and external web services, events tracking and analytics components, marketing campaign
management portal, A/B testing module, system monitoring tools, etc.
• Key contributor for in-app inbox message backend system, including data storage design and
optimization, web service improvement, system performance dashboard, etc.
• Integrated both Kochava and Atlas system into Pandora backend framework to enable analysts
and scientists to analyze and improve online and mobile advertisement campaign performance.
• Key contributor for browse backend system, including public API, data synchronization,
analytics jobs, A/B testing, runtime config, etc.
• Improved existing Pandora autocomplete ranking and integrated brand stations and advertiser stations into autocomplete results.
