* Led multiple projects, including development of new internal connectors and frameworks, stateful processing support, migrations, performance benchmarking, state backend evaluations, and remote storage migrations. Designed and built an in-house checkpoint management system and an admin server providing platform metrics, auto-remediation, and other operational capabilities.

* Directed a few OSS Flink upgrades (1.14-> 1.15 -> 1.16 -> 1.18 ->1.20) and managed recurring framework releases, introducing a new release pipeline and comprehensive end-to-end testing. This included full validation of all internal connectors, coverage of in-house and OSS operators, version upgrade testing, and more. Supported the team’s growth from zero to processing over trillion events per day.

* Onboarded nearly all major customers to FlinkSQL across diverse projects, driving new feature adoption, aligning roadmaps, and contributing to a few Million dollars in annual cost savings per use case. Improved FlinkSQL ML workloads with faster, more accurate impressions through system optimizations supporting almost 100TB of state.

* Awarded the FY2025 Productivity Engineer recognition at the Data Infra organization level.(~200 engineers)

* Led the design and development of high-availability components for distributed systems, while improving observability across core services through better metrics, logging, and monitoring (Hadoop, HBase, Yarn, Zookeeper, Ambari, Phoenix).

* Acted as Scrum Master to drive team productivity by resolving blockers, prioritizing investigations, coordinating new project intake, and running standups, demos, and backlog refinement sessions.
