Researched Neural Networks and Deep Learning theory, including CNN, RNN, seq2seq model, etc.

Used psycopg2 to extract text from company announcement in PostgreSQL database

Used regular expression and jieba to extract 70,000 company full name and abbreviation pairs from the above extracted text, 90% for training and 10% for testing

Solely built, trained and tested a seq2seq RNN prediction model, using TensorFlow, embedding matrix, softmax activation function and cross entropy cost function

The model successfully generated reasonable abbreviations given new company full names
