Coach Platform team: built Coursera's AI-assisted learning platform used by over 2 million learners so far — owning the frontend for all Coach platform code, as well as enabling other teams to seamlessly integrate Coach features into their products. Storybook-driven development with clean and comprehensive documentation.
Design System team: previously built and maintained our internal design system used across ALL product teams — enabling teams to use accessible, bidirectional, and reusable components at Coursera scale. Authored and maintained detailed technical documentation for the design system, performed large-scale migrations on the codebase to update coding best practices and replace new components via codemods to quickly improve adoption.
Web Accessibility: aside from regular work, as part of the a11y guild I actively contribute to several Eng efforts to make a11y an integral part of our product dev culture. e.g. tech talks on specific actionable topics, office hours for design and dev consultation
Content Authoring platform: previously worked extensively on the this team building several high-impact authoring tools for course instructors to more efficiently create content on the platform – one highlight includes being core owner of a complex rich content authoring system that cut across several engineering teams. Learned a whole lot about the complexities of authoring content on the Web, especially from a pedagogical context.
Frontend onboarding bootcamp: one of the founding members that created the first iteration of bootcamp – created custom codelabs and ran onboarding sessions for several batches of new hires joining Coursera. This was a big timesaver for product teams having new engineers be more productive and valuable from the get go.
