I am a graduate research assistant at Carnegie Mellon University, pursuing a master's degree in mechanical engineering with a focus on robotics and design. I have a strong background in mechanical design, having worked as a mechanical design engineer at Orangewood Labs, a Y Combinator-backed startup that develops 3D-printed robots for automation and education. 

At Orangewood Labs, I contributed to the design, simulation, testing, and optimization of several robotic components and systems using CAD, FEA, MATLAB, and Python. I also collaborated with the software and hardware teams to integrate the mechanical design with the electronics and firmware. Some of my achievements include designing a modular and scalable robotic arm that can perform various tasks, and improving the accuracy and efficiency of the 3D-printing process by 15%. I am passionate about applying my mechanical design skills to solve real-world problems and create innovative solutions. I am currently looking for full time job opportunities starting from May 2024, where I can leverage my skills and learn from industry experts.
