Principal Product Designer | Design Systems & UX Strategy | 15+ Years in Fintech & Consumer Apps
Hello! I’m a product designer with 15+ years of experience in consumer apps and B2B SaaS. I specialize in design systems, UX strategy, and creating digital experiences that are beautiful, intuitive, and scalable.
Wholesail is a Series A B2B fintech startup on a mission to modernize accounting and payment processes for SMB foodservice distributors and their buyers. I joined as the first non-founder design hire, working across the entire product lifecycle to bring our automation and reporting tools to life. Partnering closely with leadership, product, engineering, and go-to-market teams, I identified opportunities, shaped solutions, and measured success for critical 0→1 features. I also led user research to define personas, segment markets, and validate concepts, and collaborated with engineering to create and document the company’s foundational design system.
OpenTable is the world's leading restaurant reservations platform and connects millions of diners with restaurants worldwide. As Principal Product Designer, I oversaw design of consumer-facing iOS and Android apps. Together, my team and I helped the native diner apps maintain a consistent 4.9-star iOS App Store rating, earn multiple Editors’ Choice awards, and drive over 40% of all reservations. I led a small, high-impact team of designers, translated OKRs into actionable design strategies with product and engineering leaders, and collaborated across multiple teams to create OpenTable’s inaugural design system.
Ness was a restaurant search and recommendation startup focused on personalized discovery. As lead designer, I created the flagship iOS app that earned a 2013 App Store Editors’ Choice award. I grew the design function from a solo role to a team of three, and helped shape product direction until Ness was acquired by OpenTable in 2014.
