•Implemented both back-end and front-end of Leap.ai JobBoard which displays a rich set of job descriptions and delivers clean and consistent UX to end users.
◦ Back-end involves implementing functionalities which parse millions of jobs (in HTML format) crawled from the internet, build ASTs for HTML pages, convert the ASTs to raw markdown data and response data to API calls in the format of JSON.
◦ Worked together with UX team on designing user-friendly UI and implemented front-end using React.
•Maintained and improved internal ops system on a daily basis, including
◦ adding new features that provide better tooling for internal teams to inspect system logs, recent user activities, etc.
◦ optimizing page loading time by implementing asynchronous loading for heavy tables, improved loading time by 70%.
◦ collecting bug reports from internal teams and working end2end with bug reporters on fixing the issues.
