Distributed storage systems

• Deploy multi-generation hard drive based storage solutions for hyperscale data centers at Meta.

Responsible for improving the durability, availability and reliability of large scale distributed storage systems.

• Enable the multi-datacenter scalability and redundancy of the storage fleet through system design, tooling automation and test orchestration.

• Work with multiple hyperscalers on standardizing storage requirements aiming to improve Meta’s influence on the industry ecosystem.

• Optimize the performance and IO efficiency of distributed systems by meeting the SLA for hyperscale services, applications and databases.

• Grow the team by mentoring junior engineers and interviewing engineering talents.

• Promote technological innovation, entrepreneurial development and global business communication and collaborations in information storage industry.

• Help create vibrant community sharing the technology advancements in the areas of cloud storage/computing, mobile storage, big data, magnetic sensor networking, IoT, and AI, etc.

Responsible for organizing technical symposiums

• Responsible for storage product integration and launch by meeting the reliability, performance and data integrity requirements.

• Lead multi projects aiming to improve the capacity through firmware optimization and system design iterations.

• Enable continuous performance improvements in IOPS, bandwidth and latency.

• Unblock and resolve the production issues through big data analysis and test automation.
