Cyence was acquired by Guidewire Software, where I continued to develop enterprise applications based on cyber-security analytics, while helping to mentor our application team across a number of products. 

I often worked with product managers to translate business needs into features, as well as worked with test engineers to create dependable applications.

I was a full-stack engineer at Cyence, developing a AWS-based web application built in Angular, NodeJS and Postgres. The application quantified the cyber-security risk for a given company and the projected financial impact for that company if  different types of security incidents were to occur.

I had the opportunity to work on many areas, including: internal infrastructure, web application security, db modeling, build/test automation and launched REST-API products.

Lead for a web application product. I coded features while guiding and supporting junior members in an agile, iteration based environment.

Responsible for fixing security issues and integrating with other frameworks within the company; fixing high priority customer reported bugs; mentoring junior team members; tracking and reporting progress with other offices; helping to maintain integration tests for the company's product suite.

I have worked on 2 enterprise web applications. I temporarily joined a small team to create a well received, lightweight desktop business application within 6 months. I was also part of a winning team for the company's bi-annual hackathon.
