Hi I'm Wendy! I'm a UX/UI designer currently pursuing my Master of Design at UC Berkeley. I completed my Bachelor of Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, where my technical foundation in programming and data structures shaped my analytical approach to design.  

Untill 2025, I have experienced freelance work and internship work: designing AI workflow UI/UX and pre-launch landing pages of Weavin, creating end-to-end design systems of Superheat smart water heater mining tech, and serving as a UX/UI Design Intern of TidyTeddy. My experience covers design systems, responsive web and mobile design, user studies, and cross-functional collaboration – all grounded by my engineering approach to systematic problem-solving.

• Conducted literature reviews and analyzed mapping strategies, helping to structure the emotional expression space for Mediated Social Touch(MST).
• Co-authored a paper offering a human-oriented approach to MST, with practical design guidelines for device form, body location, and tactile modalities.
• Used Keil IDE to write embedded applications in C++ for a microcontroller
