This therapeutic product was acquired by Click Therapeutics in 2024. Defined design strategy and creative for treatment features such as goal setting and progress reports to improve patient engagement and clinical outcomes. - 81% of patients using the app after 180 days of treatment (94% at 90 days compared to 36% of healthcare apps at 90 days according to data from the 2022 Mobile Customer Engagement Benchmark Report by Apptentive) - 61 NPS score after 6 months of treatment Led cross-functional discovery and brainstorming workshops to identify opportunities and gaps in the treatment experience as well as Rx distribution. Our goal was often to find ways that would make our treatment more clinically effective and also connect with patients on a human level. Orchestrated the creation and migration of design systems to evangelize a shared language and improve efficiency across teams. A scrappy team, I was also responsible for tackling our brand and marketing efforts — from launching our commercial websites to crafting social media posts, business cards, booth designs etc. ### Senior Product Designer @ Better Therapeutics Jan 2019 – Jan 2022 | San Francisco Bay Area Better Therapeutics creates software as medical devices for the treatment of cardiometabolic diseases. Our clinically-validated treatments change the behaviors that cause these diseases thereby improving quality of life, reducing the need for medications, and lowering costs. ### Principal Designer @ Unknown Jan 2014 – Jan 2021 | San Francisco Bay Area Creating digital and print designs for various client projects. Works include UX/UI heuristic reviews, competitive analysis, web design, branding, and health literacy assessments. Designed a mobile health app to provide psychosocial support through play for children living with cancer. Led a systematic literature review to evaluate the prevalence of food restrictive diets, the public awareness of these diets, and what affects adoption of food restrictive diets. ### Product Design Lead @ Zipari Jan 2019 – Jan 2019 | Brooklyn, New York Led the creation of Zipari's first design system from the ground up with interdisciplinary teams. This system spans 9 different SaaS products that include native iOS/Android apps and web portals used by over 10 million members served by health insurers. Working with cross-functional teams to define product strategy, refine design processes, and pitch work to both existing and prospective clients. Mentoring on best practices, hosting design jams, and organizing monthly design system workshops in which we review pattern updates, share case studies, and provide feedback for improvement.
