Built a series of follower management flows E2E for Facebook’s Professional Mode on web, a tool designed to help influencers manage and create content. The flows handle a fundamental change in the connection model of Facebook and will be used by hundreds of millions of users.
Independently built the full-stack system: designed data model and built database schema, implemented GraphQL queries including handling the challenge of multi-platform unified strings and backend changes, designed web controllers and routing logic in Hack, and developed multi-step interaction flows using React and JavaScript. Additionally, developed a health monitoring dashboard and an internal tool for performance tracking and feature debugging.
Collaborated with multiple cross-functional (XFN) partners closely: worked with PM and DS to identify product needs and brainstorm ideas, partnered with UI/UX Designer to resolve design and implementation inconsistencies, and led dogfooding sessions to gather feedback from engineers and XFN teams to enhance the product.
