On the geocoding team, our search engine converts addresses and place-names into coordinates on a map, part of Esri’s industry-standard ArcGIS software suite.

• Research Assistant in the Computer Graphics and User Interfaces Lab under the direction of Steven Feiner.

• Researching and developing the intersection of computer networking and emerging technology.

• Member of the geocoding team, developing internal tooling for Product Engineers.

• Utilized .NET, C#, and WPF to add and expand features in a desktop app used to adjust and enhance Esri’s geocoding engine.

• Used Powershell and Groovy script within a Jenkins job to track Git changes and send autogenerated emails with build details, enhancing team productivity and automating documentation practices.

• Leveraged C# to create a Fitnesse-integrated tool that provides PII masking functionality using Regex and string demarcation, creating realistic fictional address alternatives using Census data.

• Hackathon team finalist, utilizing the ArcGIS Javascript SDK to connect residents of Washington, DC to affordable housing.
