Tech lead in TikTok Privacy team

Proposed and led the development of User data platform(UDP), the one-stop source of truth for external representation of user data. UDP powers all global data export workflows (from Law Enforcement to Litigation Hold to User Data Download) and serves as the technical backbone for privacy compliance.

Built a centralized solution enabling TikTok users to change their account region, coordinating cross-functionally with all TikTok internal teams to ensure seamless data migration across data centers. This initiative not only required large-scale data orchestration but also rigorous adherence to legal and regulatory compliance requirements.

Designed, built, maintained TikTok’s Activity Center, a centralized platform that allows users to manage their activities and provides a single, authoritative view of user activity data.
