I have been working for Enterprise Application department under Hearst Business Media since 2011. Between 2011 - 2014 we migrated our legacy CRM systems from SalesLogix into Salesforce. We are now responsible for two Salesforce Orgs with 800+ users from six subsidiary companies. The six subsidiary include First Databank (FDB), MCG Health, Zynx Health, MOTOR Information System, Black Book, and Hearst Health International. Due to the complexity of selling and supporting data products, our Salesforce Orgs have been heavily customized. As one of the two developers, I have been responsible for most of the customization using Apex and Visualforce pages. Recently I was the only developer who launched two Communities for MOTOR Information System and First Databank. In one of the Community projects, I developed the Home page using Lightening Components.

Worked in a small team to develop, maintain and support the in-house CRM and ERP systems. Responsibilities cover every aspect of the software development cycle. I’m the key resource for the database design, performance tuning, data migration, and the Oracle PL/SQL coding that handle large amount of data. Here are some of the projects:

• Currently as one of the developers in a Customer Web Portal project. We are using the Agile programming style and Service Oriented design. I'm responsible for writing almost all the Oracle PL/SQL codes and some service side C# code.

• As one of the key developers in the multi-year projects to customize and deploy SalesLogix for replacing the CRM functionality in our legacy ERP/CRM system. The customizations included writing codes in VBScript and VB.NET with OLEDB, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and Crystal Reports. I’m the key designer and developer for the custom tables, views, PL/SQL Function/Procedure. The database design needs to support integration between the CRM and the legacy ERP systems.

• In a recent database performance tuning, I was able to reduce the response from 3 – 5 second to be under 0.4 seconds on many areas of the CRM system.

• Created series of Oracle PL/SQL programs during the divestiture process in 2003 (divest the former Medi-Span business from First Databank). These programs processed almost every table in database to back-fill, delete and validate data based on the legal requirements.

• My other experience areas include using Unix Shell script and SQL*Plus on SUN server for data migration, job automation, and maintaining legacy ERP system.

Make It So was a start-up company founded in 1996 to provide Internet Marketing and E-mail Services. I was the only person there to manage the Oracle databases, including database design, performance tuning, data migration, generating reports. I was also involved in writing batch programs or web forms to interact with our distributed databases. My experiences includes Oracle PL/SQL, Unix Shell Scripts, C, Pro*C, C++, Perl, and HTML.
