• Designed the cover for Life in E Flat: The Autobiography of Phil Woods, winner of the 2021 Book of the Year award from the Jazz Journalists Association

• Facilitated in-person events for educators from around the world to work on personally meaningful

projects in a DIY fabrication lab, demonstrating how to use hardware such as 3D printers, laser cutters, embroidery machines, arduinos, and more.

• Used Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to create 10+ original covers for books about the maker movement for this emerging publisher and its imprint for jazz biographies, Cymbal Press

• Managed the book creation and publishing cycle from start to finish, including creating templates, laying out text, and preparing final files for publishing in Adobe InDesign

• Made 3D mockups of books for promotional use

• Created logos, diagrams, and original illustrations for use in the books

• Defined the look and feel of the publisher’s output and prepared graphics for CMK Press’ online presence

• Researched creative careers and wrote original curricula for online courses in fields such as UX/UI

• Worked with educational and brand partners, such as NYU, Parsons, WWD, and Rolling Stone, to ensure course content was comprehensive and equivalent to core standards and knowledge needed in their respective industries

• Scheduled and conducted virtual interviews with university faculty and subject matter experts

• Reviewed interview transcripts and edited interviews into lessons for our learning management system (LMS)

• Managed and copyedited a Wordpress-based LMS where educational videos, readings, assessments, and project-based activities were hosted

• Used project management tools to schedule the monthly rollout of new course modules

• Worked with an external video production team to review, gather partner notes, and finalize videos for the courses
