I like to view myself as a craftsman and coding my craft. For me, there is nothing better than writing elegant and useful code. I strive to always learn more and better myself as a developer. I'm looking for a team that has a great culture but is also going to push me to be a master of my craft.

I started out my career as a loan processor and quickly made the jump up to mortgage underwriter. After several years, I realized that industry would never fulfill me so I made the leap to web development by participating in Dev Bootcamp's 19 week intensive program. I have come to love what I learned to do and the tools that they equipped me with. Though the program, I learned I was able to pick up almost anything with patience and persistence.

Since that point, I have strived to always take positions that allow me to grow as a developer. I have worked with startups and 2 of the largest companies in the world. Over the years, I have been able to train others as I onboard new teammates and even established a whole new team in London.
