Frontend System Overhaul and Component Library Development: * Developed a scalable component library using TypeScript, Radix UI, and SASS in response to the acquisition needs post-CoachElite integration. * Transitioned heavy client-side functions to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) cloud functions to enhance application performance and reduce client-side load. * Overhauled core logic for state management using Redux, and optimised server-side state handling to substantially improve speed and application efficiency. 2. Jan 2021 – Jan 2022 ### Software Developer @ Tripco Jan 2021 – Jan 2021 As a software developer at Tripco, I utilized a range of technologies, including PHP, Vue.js, Nuxt.js, and Tailwind, to develop and maintain software solutions for the company. Upon joining the team, I contributed to the development of the white-labeled version of LekkeVlieg for FlySafair, known as FlySafair Holidays. This platform combines flights from FlySafair with accommodation from LekkeSlaap, where I assisted with booking management and authentication. Subsequently, I led the project to create a leads management service for the marketing team, which involved using AWS SES and writing crons to send periodic emails to new and/or stale leads. I also utilized this service to track, gain, and optimize leads for the then-upcoming "Preferred Partner" loyalty program launched in partnership between FlySafair and LekkeSlaap. This leads system managed over 150,000 leads and successfully supported the launch of the “Preferred Partner” program. Furthermore, I spearheaded the re-implementation of the PHP HTML/CSS booking management calendar for establishment owners into Vue.js, with PHP as the backend. This overhaul facilitated the management of bookings from NightsBridge and LekkeSlaap in one centralized location, thereby enhancing the usability and clarity of when establishments would be booked out. The calendar became the central feature of an establishment’s booking management, required to handle all functionality baked into the calendar while managing over 28,000 establishments. ### Software Developer @ Sleep Science Jan 2020 – Jan 2021 Planning and developing a management application for the Sleep Science team. The web application enables them to streamline their operations which include managing staff, clients and the various assessments taken place for their clients. The software was developed using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, and Node). ### Full Stack Developer @ Next Step Digital Jan 2019 – Jan 2020 | Cape Town Area, South Africa - Developed CoachElite, a training assistant web application, using React and Firebase. Also assisted in helping create the mobile application using React Native. I then worked part-time helping improve the web application and adding features to the MVP. - Worked as a lead developer for Proper Living. We created a web application in React and Gatsby also using Firebase and Firebase cloud functions. In addition to this, we used SCSS for styling.
