As a Senior Engineer at Ditto, I worked to improve and support our core Virtual TryOn Services which consisted of an API, Create Server, and Rendering Server hosted on AWS. Specific examples of work include: 

  - Architected and project-managed HD image support for our Virtual TryOn Service. 
  - Investigated efficient AWS Elasticache node sizing and backups, leading to an estimated 40% 
     reduction in cost.
  - Worked cross-functionally with our research team in order to integrate and performance test new 
     rendering packages, and update server scaling rules accordingly. 
  - Contributed to Agile and Scrum processes by performing backlog grooming; coordinating with 
    stakeholder to create project specifications, epics, and tickets; and by running stand-ups and sprint 
    retros.

### Backend Software Engineer @ Ditto

- Led efforts to consolidate AWS S3 bucket organization, implemented resource replication, and enforce client specific TTLs  and long-term storage configurations for all data.
- Decreased monitoring friction and latency by overhauling and precomputing metrics across services, and updating dashboards using Prometheus and Grafana.
- Developed and maintained primary Virtual-TryOn REST APIs services using Python, Django, Flask, Twisted, Ansible, Jenkins, and various AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, SQS, etc).
- Supported the SRE team by running deployments and updating Ansible playbooks and Jenkins automated pipelines.
