# Zachary T. > Software Engineer @ Google Gemini | Manhattan Community Board 3 Location: New York, New York, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/zacharyt 👋 Hey there, I'm Zach! I am a full-stack software engineer with web, Android, data analysis, and iOS development experience. I have spent over six years working on language model products at Google -- in particular, Google Assistant and Gemini. I write code and prose daily to learn how complex systems work and build new features. I enjoy speaking to users directly to help them understand our products and find bugs. If you work at Google, you probably know me from my frequent posts on Memegen and Gemini-related chatrooms. Before becoming a software engineer, I spent five years in data science roles. A blog post I wrote in 2020 about data science interviewing sat atop of Hacker News for multiple days [1]. I have toyed around with the idea of becoming a founder in the past and have ranked in the top 10% of Y Combinator submissions for a past cohort. Outside of work, since 2024 I have been a New York City civil servant with advocacy experience in housing, parks, and faith-based causes. You follow along my adventures in this arena through my newsletter, Friends of New York City Abundance [2].
