I started in Kumo, where I designed and implemented internal tools for Cloud Support Engineers, increasing customer workflow efficiency and security.
• Built frontend for support dashboard used to identify critical issues and reduce customer contact SLA
• Designed and implemented asynchronous API to run diagnostics on AWS Support cases as they are created/modified. Allows Support Engineers to compare state of customers’ AWS resources at and after case creation. Leveraged API Gateway, Lambda (JavaScript), SNS, SQS.
• Designed and developed backend and frontend for website used by Cloud Support Engineers to write and use diagnostic scripts to help external AWS customers.
Currently at Builder Tools, where I'm building company-wide services to increase deployment safety and developer efficiency.
• Designed and implemented 2 services that enable internal resources to be deployed and managed by CloudFormation, enabling teams to model these resources in AWS CDK. Leveraged internal Java Lambda framework designed by CloudFormation.
• Designed and implemented website and 3 microservices for an internal deployment safety service that allows service owners to create rules that categorize IaC changes into risk levels. The product reduces the chance of deploying breaking IaC changes by allowing service-team experts to define what IaC changes are risky for their service. Led team in implementation of website frontend and infrastructure.
