When it comes to design, I usually look for consistency, identifying patterns, or some sort of scaleable way to solve to a design problem. I don't mind working with ambiguity or some unknowns, and like aligning on a solution together with a team.
I lead a team of designers for Security, Admin, and Governance in the US and Europe — We are responsible for building security/compliance controls, tools, and reporting for IT Admins, enabling them to easily configure and manage how their users can access Box
I design and build solutions for Box's Partners/Integrations and Developer Platform teams. Previously on Skills (machine learning) and Box Notes teams.
I worked on several projects—most notably a large-scale redesign of the William T. Grant Foundation in New York City, and a redesign/ongoing contract role for a non-profit mountain biking and trail advocacy organization in Santa Cruz, California.
I coordinated multiple projects across the design process and into development. These projects were rapid-pace and typically spanned from ideation to MVP applications. I also mentored a design team consisting of four others; helping them solve problems, and drive final solutions.
My role was heavily self-managed. I was responsible for communicating and presenting designs —including several startups and large companies looking for unique and fresh ideas such as Google, Airbnb, and Dropbox.
